Lakeview Training delivers practical software training (WordPress, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) onsite, at your team's own location, anywhere in Ontario. The idea is simple: instead of sending staff to a webinar they'll half-watch, bring an instructor to the office and teach the actual tasks people do every day.
Where this comes from
Lakeview Training is a Lakeview Brands company, taught by Christopher Ross, who has spent years teaching practical WordPress and Microsoft Office skills through thisismyurl.com, self-paced courses, workshops, and in-person sessions for individuals and small businesses. Lakeview Training is the onsite, team-focused version of that same training, built for offices that want a session delivered where their people already work.
Who it's for
Offices, small businesses, and organizations across Ontario whose staff use WordPress or Microsoft Office daily but never had formal training on it, the kind of gap that shows up as slow work and repeated questions rather than any one big problem.
How a session works
Get in touch with a short description of your team and what you'd like covered. Sessions are built around the tasks your people actually do. The catalogue days are fixed, and a private day can be shaped to your team. Everything is delivered at your location.

I was Training Manager at Lakeview Brands from 2016 to 2020, running about 20 onsite training sessions a year across six brands and managing three trainers. Lakeview Training is now a Lakeview Brands company. I've also taught WordPress at Sheridan College and York University.
